Cereal take 2!

We've been slowing trying to feed Turner cereal again. This picture pretty much sums up how he feels about it!
Add some sugar, then I MIGHT like it!
I haven't posted an OSU picture in a while!
If Turner keeps growing like he is now, he might just be the 2026 Heisman Trophy winner!

He actually did fairly well last night eating the cereal. At least, no major melt downs!

Turner is putting everything in his mouth these days. This is his new favorite toy a soft froggy with teething rings attached that Miss Billie from Louisiana gave him.

Birthday Bash!!

We had such a fun weekend with my parents, Grams, Crystal and Eric. Friday night started out with me, John, Turner, Crystal & Eric going to eat sushi for her birthday! It was yummy as always! Saturday was filled with shopping and getting ready for their birthday party later that evening. John smoked a brisket and bologna....It was absolutely amazing!
John & Eric's family joined us for the celebration too! It was a fun filled weekend, no doubt.

Crystal, Eric, & Izzie all dressed up and no where to go!

Turner loves his Grandma Rose. She always sits in the back seat with him and she can make him laugh like no one else! We love you Grams and we are so glad you came this weekend.

Crystal, Grams, and a "Rose cake" Happy Birthday Crystal Pistol!

Notice Turner's shirt-"I love my Aunt CC!"

The Satterfield trio

Lexus & Izzy decided they wanted to dress up for Crystal & pop's birthday bash too!! Can't you tell they are loving every minute of it!

We had so much fun this weekend spending time with family! Oh, how I wish they all lived just a bit closer!

Pops & Turner in his Harley t-shirt pops gave him!

I think Pop's is secretly hoping Turner will like motorcycles so he has someone to go "cruisin" with!

**Special prayer request for our adoption friends Katie & Kyle who lost their sweet little daughter last week.**

Grandma's little Snuggle Bug!

Turner & I survived week one of being back to work with no major meltdowns to speak of! Woo Hoo! The week actually flew by which is a blessing in itself! We're going to spend a quiet weekend at home enjoying each other! John is going to cook a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner...scallops, lamb, and chocolate covered strawberries! Yes my mouth is already watering just thinking about it.
Since I only blogged once this week, I've posted several pictures from this week of our little prince. John & I can't get over how fast he is growing. We introduced him to cereal last week and he hate's it! We've tried several times and he throws an absolute fit!! So if anyone out there has any suggestions, I'm listening. The good thing is, he is in no way, shape, or form starving! We even tried mixing it in his bottle...he was up ever single hour with a stomach ache :( Urrrr....
This week Turner has started sticking out his tongue, really blowing spit bubbles, and rolling over from stomach to back all the time. He is really scooting on his belly (nearly 2 feet). He's got the knee movement down, just not sure about his hands and arms...John's betting he'll be crawling in less than a month! I don't know if the dogs are ready for that yet!
Hope you all are having a blessed weekend!
Happy Belated birthday to cousin Mason & Pops!
We are SO glad Grandma and Grandpa are back from Arkansas...we were missing them so much! They came over yesterday to play with Turner and had so much fun! He absolutely loved his Grandma rocking him...he snuggled right up to her and fell fast asleep! Johnny & Judy, how lucky are we that you live so close to us....we love you and really enjoyed last night! Have fun at the OSU basketball game!
This picture melts mommy's heart...look at her two love bugs smiling at one another.
Valentine's Day outing with mommy & papa this morning.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Turner can't get enough of his new jumping center!

This week Turner has started sticking out his tongue! Here is papa trying to get him to do it for the camera:)
Turner's new trick!
Life is rough....
Why can't we look this darn cute with all those chubby rolls???

Turner LOVES his bath time! I think he's going to be a swimmer like his mommy!

Still obsessed with his little hands!

Here is a little glimpse into Turner's spit bubble talent!

I survived!!!!

I officially survived my first 2 days back to work...Praise the Lord!! It was nothing short of a miracle that's for sure! I even made it both days without shedding a single tear...although John kindly reminded me I have cried enough last week and over the weekend to last a life time! I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing women at work who managed to keep me very busy both days so I didn't have time to be sad!
But our little angel did wonderful for Alisa and Lindsay. He was such a little doll, didn't get too fussy, ate all of his bottle, and so far he has taken 2-3 hour afternoon naps both days! I have adjusted his eating schedule just a little so I can feed him before I work in the morning and it so happens that I take my lunch break right before his nap time so I can come home and love on him before I put him down for a nap..then when he wakes up I am home within an hour or so....So it's been so much easier than I had expected!
Turner is so excited that his Grandma & Grandpa are home from Arkansas. They are going to come over on Friday and spend the afternoon with us YAY!!! We missed you and can't wait to see you and get good Grandma kisses. XOXO
Cheese mommy
Turner's new "skull hat"...and drool
Turner, your mommy is absolutely crazy about you and misses you SO much during the day!!! I love you more than words can melt my heart! I am the luckiest mommy alive

Our little angel is 4 months old!!!

Yes, our little man is growing up SO fast! I can't believe 4 months ago today we first laid eyes upon you and held you in our arms and we cried tears of joy. As of Monday, he weighs 16 lbs. & 9 oz. and is 26 inches long...both fall into the 90% group! He's going to be one big boy!
Turner loves laughing at his mommy, playing in his new jumping swing, standing on papa's lap, and Aunt CC's kisses. He still loves books, sucking on cold teething toys & having mommy do his leg and arm exercises to "The Wheels on the Bus"!

His little laugh is contagious! He loves giving mommy & papa open mouth kisses, holding mommy's hand while he's eating, and having his papa rock him to sleep every night! He enjoys nature walks when the weather is nice and he even loves shopping!

Oh Turner, we are so honored & humbled God chose us to be your parents. We love you with all of our hearts and then some. You have brought so much joy into our lives and we love watching you grow up. You will always be our little angel no matter how big you are!

Turner's new girlfriends!

Yes, it's official....Turner now has 3 girlfriends...Lindsay, Alisa, and mommy of course!!!
This week, Turner has had play dates with his 2 babysitters and he did pretty good. He was a little fussy and missed his mommy just a tiny bit but over all he did good. I've told the girls it might take him a few days to warm up to them, but I have no doubt, he will love them both!
Lindsay & Alisa, you are both so precious and I'm so blessed you get to keep our little man for the next month!
Meet Lindsay....
Turner and Lindsay will spend Tuesday & Thursday together. Lindsay is an absolute doll!! Her smile lights up the room.

Meet Alisa...
Alisa & Turner get to play together Monday, Wednesday, & Friday! Alisa has such a sweet and gentle spirit!!! And she is so good with Turner.

Grandma Rose's little Cowboy

So a few weeks back, when Turner and I went to Amarillo with Grams to the doctor, we also went bargain shopping. Grams loves a good bargain just about as much as I do. We hit both Dillards & Steinmart's after Christmas sales. Then, of course, we must hit Wal-mart before heading back to Perryton...And we found the sweetest bargain of all... Grams treated Turner to these adorable cowboy boots for only $5.00! I just couldn't resist taking some pictures of him in his new camo boots!
Thank you Grandma Rose for my 1st pair of camo boots. I love you and can't wait to see you in a few weeks!
Peace Pardner....
I love how his little hand is on his knee... as if he's posing
Turner's new Valentine's Day t-shirt...Heart Breaker
Since Turner is loving to stand so much, on our weekly after church stop to Sam's, we bought Turner his very own Baby Einstein jumping activity seat...HE LOVES IT!!! He cried when I took him out of it this morning!

This is so much better than standing in mommy & daddy's lap! There is no doubt Turner will have rhythm...when the music starts playing his chubby little legs start a dancin!
naked as a jay bird!
This is Turner's new thing...let's see how far I can stick my fist in my mouth before I gag! This picture captures his determination perfectly!
