B is for Big Boy, Boogers, Boots and Baseball

It's hard to believe my little love bug is almost 2 1/2 years old! Oh what joy he brings to our family. Turner- you are so full of life and you make me giggle all the time! So last night, I interviewed Turner again....I think you'll get a kick out of his answers~

What do you like to do outside? Baseball

What is your favorite movie? Cars!!!

What is your favorite food? Peanut crackers

Tell me a joke? Knock, knock -who there- cars....and then he dies laughing!..who needs a punch line anyway

Who do you love? Abbie (Ms. Kathy's granddaughter)

Who is your friend? Cole, Mason, & Kathy

What is your favorite thing about our house? SNACKS! And he runs to the pantry to "shop"

What song do you like to sing? Baby, Baby, Baby oooo....yes that's Justin Bieber! And then he stands on the couch and shakes his booty

What is your favorite toy? Race car

What is your favorite color? Pink

What kind of animals do you like? Dogs- and the leans over and kisses Lexus and jumps on Mercy and calls her a horse!

What do horses eat? Hay...Aunt CC, that one's for you :)

What is icky? Poop in my "biaper" & boogers..then he screams like a girl

Even at 2 1/2 years, he still loves his Maxx and can't go to sleep without him! He reminds me all the time that "Idia" is the baby....I'm a BIG BOY mommy...and oh how true that is
He decided he didn't need pants or tennis shoes to play baseball!

Look mommy, the kite is really high!
and my favorite question/answer yet:

What happens when you get in trouble?

Mommy say NO, NO, NO (and he's shakin his finger) and daddy say YES, YES, YES

Crack me up little stinker! Turner we love you to the moon and back. You're our spirited wild child, but you like nothing more than to snuggle and give kisses. You're beginning to be very independant and you now realize how cute you are! You can wink those big brown eyes and long eye lashes and almost get away with anything :) You are going to do great things sweet boy!

4 months of pure bliss!

It's hard to believe that only 4 months ago this past Wednesday, God gave us our 2nd miracle~ Lydia Kaye Satterfield.

Not only did God give us our little girl, but he blessed us with a whole new addition to our family. We are forever grateful for Kassandra's sacrifice and trusting us to raise her daughter Lydia. We love this women and her kids just like they are our own and we are so lucky we get to spend time with them! I can't wait til schools out and we're going to have one big slumber party at our house.

We spent Lydia's 4 month birthday with Kassandra and the kids~ Their sweet little faces light up with they hold Lydia...and it makes this mommy's heart melt. When I got home Wednesday night Kassandra gave me the biggest compliment I have ever gotten-she told me THANK YOU for loving Lydia and her family and that she knew from the 1st time she met John & I this is exactly how God wanted it to be. Needless to say, I had tears flowing. I could say thank you a million times over to Kassandra for choosing us and it wouldn't even come close to the gratitude I have for this extraordinary mom.

Lydia's 4 month stats:
Weight- 12 lbs 8 oz (30%)
Length: 24 3/4inches (65%)
Head circ: 39 1/2 cm (25%)

At 4 months, Lydia is really perfecting sitting up and holding her head steady. She's a busy girl who loves to kick her legs and
jibber jabberShe has the brightest big brown eyes that I have ever seen!

She is still napping and sleeping very well! Most of the time she sleeps thru the night. She loves to snuggle and be sung to. Her brother makes her giggle and she loves talking to him.

Lydia is such a happy baby!

She has the sweetest grin on her face! Even when it's 2:00 in the morning....there is my little love bug, smilin in her bed. She is rolling over all the time and loves her jumparoo and bouncy seat. Just like her bubba, Lydia likes to have her hair played with.

Oh sweet Lydia, that sparkle in your eye makes your mommy so proud. I can't imagine our life without you. You're so very laid back and such a good sport when mommy dresses you all up! I am honored to be your mom and I thank God every single day that he allowed you to come into our world!
