Our baby girl is 9 months and 10 days old!

Our little princess is such a big girl! We had her 9 month check up today and

Dr. Fields said she's a perfect little girl! Her eyes sparkle and her smile lights up the room!

She is such a happy baby.

She is everything we ever prayed for and them some!

She was definitely worth the wait and we are forever grateful to K! 18 lbs 5 oz - 40%

28 1/2 inches long - 80%

44 cm head circ- 45 %

Long and lean just like her buba

Lydia is sitting and crawling like a big girl. She can stand by herself for 3-5 seconds...or until Turner knocks her down! She will walk with assistance, is pulling up on everything and cruising on all the furniture. She loves being outside and taking a bath with Turner. She isn't interested much in her paci anymore. She loves jumping up and down, attempting to climb the stairs, and squealing!
Her newest "trick" is clapping her hands! She gets so excited!
Her favorite foods include bananas, sweet potatoes, and apple sauce. She also likes watermelon and her puffed cereal. She loves to snuggle with her dog Missy. For the most part she's sleeping thru the night. She has 5 teeth with 2 more popping thru.

She absolutely ADORES Turner! She lights up when he comes around. She loves playing patty cake with him and getting into his toys. She will sit there and babble up a storm to him...and he's so sweet he'll say "GOO GOO GAA GAA" back to her..then politely ask me "mommy what she say?"
This was Turner at 9 months old! Wow seems like yesterday :)

I'm reminded how quickly they grow up and I want to soak up each new stage.

I am humbled by all our blessings...I feel so unworthy but forever grateful!

Love serving a God who holds our hearts in his hands

Monster's BEWARE!!!

Turner's at that age that his imagination is running WILD...and Monsters seem to be at the top of his list. So thanks to Aunt Kelley, Turner is the proud owner of his very own Monster Spray He sprays in his room before bed time to get rid of all the big, ugly, scary monsters!

Beware Monsters, there is a new sheriff in town!
We even decorated the bottle with messages to the monsters like Go Away, NO -NO -NO, Beware!

I'm sure it really scares them :)

While buba is off fighting monsters, Lydia is all smiles :)

Our trip to DC

This past week we made a trip to Vienna, VA to visit John's middle brother and his precious family! We had such a wonderful time. It's so fun to see all 3 brothers get together..it's non-stop laughing no doubt!

We went non-stop while in town. Parks, Redskins football practice, putt putt golf, ice cream factory, concerts, shopping and so much more! Turner finally gave in and took a nap with Grandma Judy :) He just couldn't handle all the excitement
The Train ride was a big hit with Turner and Reese

Mapping out our next stop at the Hershey's Park

Giving Tess a spankin

Turner LOVES Tess.

She rode in the car with us most of the time and Turner loved every minute of it!

Satterfield cousins! I was so proud of all the kids, they all got along and played so well together! Wish we all lived in the same town.

No Tiger Woods here, but he had fun "trying"

Reese giving sissy a little hug and kiss

We went to the Hershey's Amusement Park and despite the rain, we had a fantastic time! Turner was a BIG fan of the carousel

Daddy even had fun too!

2 weeks of Perryton FaMiLy FUN!

When the storm came thru Norman at the end of June we had significant water damage to the kitchen due to our refrigerator leaking....SO we had to have our hardwood floors replaced/refinished which meant we couldn't be in our house for 2 WEEKS!! At 1st I was a nervous wreck, but after talking to my ROCK STAR boss, I was able to work from my parent's house in Texas! What a blessing it was!

We missed John like crazy but we made lemonaid out of lemons!

Here are some of the highlights of our adventure:

Turner's loves his new motorcycle and Pops old helmet!

Aunt CC even came down for a few days to play with the kids. When she was getting ready to leave Turner decided to pack himself in her suitcase!

2 weeks was a long time to be away from daddy, so we met him in Amarillo for the weekend and had lots and lots of fun playing!

Giddy up Cowboy

Lolly bought this 2nd hand Hot Wheels town for Turner...he was in heaven. It came with nearly 200 hot wheels. Needless to say - we will never have to bring our own toys to Lolly's house again

Turner loves having sissy in his bath time!

~Waking up from a nap with Lizzy is always a fun surprise~

Turner took swim lessons while in Perryton too. His teacher was Shelby, who 15 years ago, I gave her swim lessons...talk about feeling old!!

Despite his frown, he did have fun

He's not a little fishy yet but he did learned how to kick his feet, move his arms and blow bubbles!

Thanks Lolly & Pops for letting us crash at your place for 2 weeks! We had a blast!
