Turner time!

Oh how my little Turner bears is growing up so fast.  It seems like yesterday he was cooing and rolling from his back to his tummy!  Now he goes 100 miles an hour non-stop!  This boy has some serious energy and I wouldn't trade him for the world!
He started playing summer soccer 2 weeks ago and LOVES practices but isn't too sure about the games.  He likes a little structure and all the parents and coaches yelling simply scares him! He has no idea how good he is.  He's the youngest on his team but can kick harder and further and run faster than any of the other kids!  Yes I'm bragging...
So he sits Indian style on the white line and cheers his team on.  He occasionally plays with a blade of grass!
His 1st warm up before the game with his coach and fellow team mates
Turner is such a little lover...yes he does push, hit, and kick but he's a lover at heart.  I find him snuggled up to Lexy and Mercy often or if Lydia starts to cry, he's the first to run up to her and tell her it's alright and give her hugs and pat her soft little brown back or run his fingers thru her curly black hair.
And this sweet guy ADORES his daddy!  He is his hero for sure!  Aren't the men in my life GORGEOUS!!!  Let's skip right past handsome, they are gorgeous INSIDE and OUT!
Turner is a little joker too!  He loves laughing, telling knock knock jokes and having the "tickle monster" come and get him!
When we had company the other day, he was showing off and when I asked him what he was doing he said, "Yes I am, I'm showing off"  Oh no....I think we're in trouble.  Also during out night time prayers, he asked me if God made poop....what a clever little boy!
Despite pestering his sissy, he is very protective of her.  It's ok if he pushes her, but he will not stand for it if his friends pick on his "Idia"
Turner loves to be outside...whether it be playing football, basketball or soccer, or chasing butterflies, swinging on the swing or jumping over dog poop~ as long as he is outside he is one happy little camper!
Lydia had fallen and Turner was determined to carry her to me!  She is going to be tough as nails~ look at her little grin!  She loves the attention her big brother gives her! And can't you see the pride beaming on his face
Seriously, how blessed am I to get to do life with these 3 love bugs
There is no denying it, Turner is a momma's boy!  I hope he never  quits giving me hugs and kisses!  He wakes up every single morning and tells me I'm beautiful.  Now how can I ever have a bad day when it starts out with sweet words like that!

Sporting his shin guards and cleats!

Oh Turner, your smile, your laugh, your snuggles and your love is more than I deserve.  You keep me on my toes and bring so much life and laughter to our family! You're so sensitive and sentimental.  I love that you thank Jesus for your birthmom. I love you to the moon and back my sweet Turner bears!

Happy Gotcha Day sweet Lydia

On Wednesday was Lydia's special Gotcha Day!  A day we will never forget when she legally became a Satterfield!  We had a fun day of celebrating and doing all of her favorite things! A few of her favorite things are:
Playing with her baby dolls.  She especially likes to hold and rock them in her sweet little brown arms
Play in the fields of grass and wild flowers!
This day it was a bit windy and sis LOVES the wind to blow in her face!!  She lights up :)
Bananas are her favorite food so we started this special day off right ~with a big yellow banana.
And lots of playing time with her awesome big brother Turner.  They love to read books and rock together in this chair!
Lydia is cracking me up with the face she makes when she says "Cheese"
And what's a Gotcha Day without cake balls and cupcakes with hot pink frosting!
This girl loves her some sweets!!
 Yummy in my tummy!
Then sis got her own little slide as her Gotcha Day present
 She is so independent!
Oh precious Lydia, you are such an answer to many, many, many prayers.  God knew exactly what he was doing.  I am so thankful we were patient and waited.  You are more than we could have ever wished for.  You are so kind, lovable, and tender hearted.  Your sweet little hugs and soft kisses melt my heart!  I love the way you look at your brother and are always so willing to go along with whatever he's doing. We love you more than words can ever express!

My sweet friend Christine is always so good to think of our kids and never comes empty handed. She is one of the most generous and kind hearted people I know. She loves Jesus and it shows in every single word or action that comes out of her!
