2 -3 month update

So I've found one thing that's harder to do with 3 kids!  BLOGGING!!
So here goes Nora's 2nd AND 3rd month update.

We are 3 months into being a family of 5 and still loving every minute.  I often find myself in awe of how "easy" it has been.  Now don't get me wrong we have our moments but my fear of failure with 3 kids weighed heavy on my heart months leading up to Nora.  I already had my hands full with 2 so how could I really add another one into the mix and succeed!  Well now I know those fears were of the devil!

Turner and Lydia adore their "Baby Nora"  I'm guessing she will be 15 and they are still going to be calling her "Baby Nora"  They love holding her and most of all talking to her since she now smiles at them.
Not only does she smile ALL the time she is also "talking" up a storm.  She wakes up every morning in the sweetest mood.  She's not too hungry, she just wants to be held and talked to.
She is on a good schedule-eating about every 3-4 hours and PRAISE JESUS, still sleeping thru the night.  She usually takes a few cat naps in the morning, then a 3 hour nap from 12:30-3:30 then she's up for most the evening which is perfect so the kids and daddy get to play with her!  She doesn't miss a thing.  Then she usually goes down about 8:30 in the evening, we wake her around 10:30 for a final feeding before calling it a night.  She sleeps until 7:00 or even a little later.
She is so very laid back and rarely fusses.  People I see on a daily basis can't believe they have never heard her cry....I'm telling you- she's perfect in every single way!
At 2 months, she weighs 12 lbs and 10 oz which is in the 95% and is 22 1/2.  She is our chunky monkey for sure.  Turner and Lydia never had the baby rolls on their legs or the double chin- so I'm loving this 1st!
She has the most beautiful blue eyes (from her birth grandpa) that just like her big sisters, light up a room.  Her eye lashes are gorgeous.

And this smile melts our hearts!   So blessed she's ours!  We've seen her birthmom and grandparents several times over the last 3 weeks and with each visit, we draw closer and closer to them.  Her birthmom told me this week they were all so afraid that they would never see her again even though we promised that would not be the case.  I'm so relieved they want to have an ongoing relationship with us.
Its a beautiful thing and one of the biggest blessings of all 3 of our adoptions.

There you have it - We are in love and are having a blast!
