A visit to Perryton!

This past weekend we made a quick road trip to Perryton to celebrate! We celebrated Pop's birthday, Grandma Rose getting out of the hospital, and Valentines Day. We also helped Aunt CC and Eric get registered for their wedding showers. It was a fun filled weekend for sure!

Turner absolutely loves Grandma Rose's walker...we keep joking that she needs to get another one so he can take this one home with him. It was so cute, she got up to go to the bathroom and Turner scooted in between her and the walker, and took off!! Leaving Grams to walk alone!

Eric teaching Turner how to do a hand stand....yes on tile floor! Good thing he has a hard head :)

Aunt CC's dream is to one day open a gymnastics studio...hopefully it will be in Norman so Turner can take lessons from her. Crystal says he is a natural gymnast!

We were so glad Grams was feeling a little better and was up for company. We spent most of the weekend at her house playing! It was so much fun. We sure do love our Grandma Rose!

Mema came over to play and "steal" kisses too!

Favorite toy behind the walker: the piano...he could care less that it was badly out of tune!

We have a busy week ahead! Aunt CC will be celebrating her BIG 30 tomorrow and then mom, Aunt CC, and Eric are coming to Norman for the weekend to play! We have lots and lots of wedding appointments on Friday. It should be FUN times in the Satterfield household!

Signing time, a commercial, and mommy's little helper!

Turner has a new found love for his sign language videos. It's only about 20 minutes long and each video has 10-12 signs. We don't watch them every day but at least a few times a week. Here is Turner practicing 2 of his favorite signs

BALL

Being so attentive. I just love his little hands

Can you tell he's serious about the videos :) He even ignores mommy taking pictures

There's a little grin to acknowledge the fact I'm taking his picture...but his eyes never leave the tv :)

Yesterday our family went to the FOX 25 studio to shoot a commercial for our adoption agency! It was so much fun! Turner was a little angel for about the 1st 5 minutes...then he would not sit still to save his life...seriously, who would when there are bright lights, lots and lots of cords, ladders, and cameras :) Certainly not Turner.

Hopefully they got enough footage to use in the spot. As soon as it's completed, I'll be sure to post a link. It will run on the FOX 25 morning show from 5:00 am to 9:00 am and then on TMZ in the evening.

I just love his angelic features...he looks so sweet in this picture with his new lime green shirt!

Papa & Turner are glad the photo shoot is over!!

He's up to something I'm sure.....

Turner is becoming quite the little helper around the house. When we do his laundry, he insists on helping....He also loves to put his toys up after he's finished with them as well as wipe his tray off after breakfast & dinner! I think he is getting a little of my OCD about having everything clean!!!

What do you think?

We're off to see Lolly & Pops for the weekend! Aunt CC and Eric are meeting us there as well. Going to be a fun filled weekend in the Texas panhandle!

16 months of pure JOY!

Better late than never! It's been a busy last few days! On Saturday, Turner was 16 months old! We celebrated his big day by speaking at an adoption seminar then going to Grandma & Grandpa's house. It was such a fun day and Turner was a little ham at the seminar! It was so cute, a couple who attended the seminar came up afterwards and went on and on about what a little doll baby he was and wanted to hold him :) Turner wasn't sure about letting a stranger hold him but he did give them a big HIGH 5!
